TRD-1: Phenotypical & Functional Optimization of Cells and Tissues for TEMPs Manufacturing

TRD-1 implements sophisticated molecular approaches to facilitate automatization of cell culturing and tissue manufacturing.  Validated approaches for a particular tissue engineering (TE) application can ultimately be extrapolated to other TEMPs manufacturing processes along two main axes:

(1) functionally and phenotypically optimized cell lines

(2) media sensing capabilities for tissue maturation in a bioreactor

BioFabUSA, a program of ARMI, is a public-private partnership with more than 170 members, including companies, academic institutions and not-for profit organizations.
