TRD-3: Bioreactor Technologies Development for consistent TEMPs Manufacturing

TRD-3 develops sensor systems, control systems (algorithms and actuators), and bioreactors.

Integrated sensors are developed for:

(1)  quality assessment of the product (mechanical property, and tissue biomolecular levels)

(2)  process monitoring of tissue maturation (oxygen, glucose, and lactate)

(3) control of product and process parameters to ensure quality engineering

Bioreactor actuators include systems based on chemical and mechanical stimuli.
