TRD-2 Sensor Enabled Scaffolds

TRD-2 incorporates sensing functions into the scaffolds  to monitor dynamically and longitudinally multiple  biological properties of the maturing TEMP in a non-destructive approach.  To capture  real-time cues of cell differentiation and tissue maturation in the bioreactor, the focus is on

(1) Cell seeding onto the scaffolds (monitoring and optimizing)

(2)  Nutrient exchange and metabolic waste removal as read-out for cell and tissue status
